By accessing or using the ToxiBenzo tool (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. The Service is provided by Medical Toxicology LLC, a U.S.-based company, free of charge and without user registration. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Intended Use
ToxiBenzo is designed to assist healthcare professionals in evaluating the severity of benzodiazepine withdrawal symptoms using a clinical assessment scoring system and to offer initial treatment guidance based on the score. The tool may be used: • In clinical practice to support withdrawal scoring and treatment planning • In medical education and training environments • For academic research or professional reference ToxiBenzo is intended only for use by qualified healthcare professionals.
3. Medical Disclaimer
⚠️ ToxiBenzo supports but does not replace clinical judgment. ToxiBenzo calculates an estimated withdrawal severity score and provides general treatment suggestions based on the entered symptoms. These outputs are intended as guidance only. Users must rely on their own clinical expertise, assess each patient’s unique situation, and independently verify any decisions before prescribing treatment or medication. ToxiBenzo is not a certified medical device under U.S. FDA regulations or the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), and should not be treated as such. Medical Toxicology LLC assumes no responsibility for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, or any harm resulting from reliance on this tool.
4. Permitted Use
You are permitted to use ToxiBenzo for: • Clinical scoring and toxicology reference • Medical education, training, and academic use • Non-commercial research You may not: • Use the tool for commercial resale or integrate it into proprietary EMR/EHR systems without written consent • Copy, modify, redistribute, or publish the tool or its content without explicit permission
5. Intellectual Property
All code, content, and design of ToxiBenzo are the intellectual property of Medical Toxicology LLC or its authorized contributors. Unauthorized use, alteration, or distribution is prohibited.
6. Modifications to the Service
Medical Toxicology LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
