1. Scope and Acceptance
These terms govern use of the MedicalToxic CMS. Access is granted to named individuals for work on behalf of Medical Toxicology LLC. Where you have a separate employment or contributor agreement with us, that agreement controls and these terms fill its gaps.
2. Accounts and Roles
Your account is personal and must not be shared. Your role — author, editor, SEO manager, administrator or superuser — determines what you can see and do. Do not attempt to act outside your role or to obtain access you were not granted. Report any suspected compromise of your credentials immediately. Access ends when your engagement ends.
3. Editorial Standards
Everything published through the CMS carries the MedicalToxic name. Accordingly: • Content must be accurate, evidence-based and appropriately referenced. • Clinical claims must be supported by cited sources, and citations must be real and checked. Do not submit a reference you have not verified exists and says what you claim it says. • Content must not contain patient-identifying information. De-identify case studies fully, and confirm any consent or institutional approval required before writing about a case. • You must have the right to everything you submit, including images and their alt text. • Plagiarism, fabricated data and undisclosed conflicts of interest are grounds for immediate removal of access.
4. The Review Workflow
Nothing publishes itself. Submitted content enters the approval queue, and an editor either accepts it or returns it with notes. Approval is a substantive medical-editorial act, not a formality: an editor who accepts an item takes responsibility for it having been reviewed. Do not attempt to circumvent the queue, and do not publish through any other route.
5. Intellectual Property
Content created in the course of your engagement with Medical Toxicology LLC belongs to the company, subject to your employment or contributor agreement. You keep your right to be identified as the author where a byline is given. The CMS itself — its software, editor, workflow and design — is owned by Medical Toxicology LLC.
6. AI-Assisted Features
Where you use AI features in the CMS, you remain the accountable author of what you submit. Model output is a draft, and reviewing it is your responsibility, not the reviewer's. Submitting unverified AI-generated text — and in particular unverified AI-generated citations — is a breach of section 3.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not share your credentials, export content in bulk except as your role requires, attempt to reach data outside your role, interfere with the system or its security controls, or use the CMS for anything other than MedicalToxic work.
8. Availability and Termination
We may change, suspend or withdraw CMS features, and may revoke access at any time, in particular for breach of section 3. We work to preserve work in progress — which is why autosave, offline backup and version history exist — but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability.
9. Governing Law, Changes and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms.
